About

ACGP derives its name from the initials of its founding partners' surnames — Arancibia, Castillo Calderón, García, and Painemil — as a reflection of the joint commitment that gave rise to the company.

History

ACGP was founded in 1990 by four professionals with the purpose of providing specialized programming services to IBM Chile, serving clients in the financial sector both in Chile and in Central America. The initiative arose from a personal need to create an organization dedicated to software development, driven by one of the founding partners, Miguel García—who is today the company’s majority shareholder—and who invited three former university classmates to join the project. Our first client was IBM, for whom we developed solutions intended for various banks, marking the start of a trajectory focused on technological excellence and commitment to our clients.
